Problem
“CP” Error Code
Solution
If the FNRP lever is moved to forward or reverse prior to pressing the inching pedal, a “CP” will appear in the tractor monitor display window and the tractor will not drive.
Each time the engine is started, the inching pedal must be pushed all the way down prior to moving the FNRP lever to forward or reverse. If the FNRP lever is moved to forward or reverse prior to pressing the inching pedal, a “CP” will appear in the tractor monitor display window and the tractor will not drive.
Move the FNRP lever to Park, press the inching pedal to the floor, and then move the FNRP lever to the desired direction of travel. The inching pedal will not have to be cycled again, unless the key is turned off and the tractor is restarted.
The operator must be seated when shuttle shifting (changing direction of travel). If the FNRP lever is moved from forward to reverse and the operator is not seated, the “CP” code will appear.
If the “CP” code appears while shuttle shifting, and the operator is seated, check the operator presence switch and its wiring. While seated on the operators seat, and the key ON, 12 volts should be measured on pin 23 of the ICU connector (#61).
